International Trade and Fragmented Regulations: Taxation, Borders and Brand Governance – Benoît Gréteau at the 2025 AJLMD

International Trade and Fragmented Regulations: Taxation, Borders and Brand Governance
Such was the topic at the heart of the cross-disciplinary debate our partner Benoît Gréteau took part in, at the 5th edition of the Fashion, Luxury & Design Legal Forum, organized by Lexposia.
Alongside Yann Ambach (DGDDI) and Xavier Guéant (FEBEA), his contribution focused on the strategies adopted by players in the Fashion and Luxury sectors to address rising customs duties, particularly in the United States.
- A much-needed perspective on the levers to be activated and the tax implications to anticipate, in a rapidly evolving geopolitical and trade environment, where it has become essential for brands to integrate customs constraints at the very heart of their overall strategy.
