Reaffirming Freedom of Expression in the Digital Space: Maxime Seno among the signatories of the final report

Our partner, Maxime Seno, is among the expert signatories of the final report issued by the LibEx working group of La villa numeris, entitled “Reaffirming Freedom of Expression in the Digital Space.”

In response to the surge in disinformation, online harassment, the dissemination of illegal content, and the proliferation of deepfakes—further amplified by artificial intelligence—the report examines how democracies can uphold a robust and protective framework in which every individual has the right to express themselves freely.

It sets out seven recommendations, together with an overview of the legal framework governing freedom of expression, as well as existing technologies for monitoring, filtering, and labeling content.

The working group behind the report, chaired by Thaima Samman and Professor Pascal Beauvais, brings together a multidisciplinary team of experts, executives, and engaged public figures.
