Pro Bono: Veil Jourde supports contemporary African creation

Maxime Seno and Solange Erambert had the pleasure of representing the firm at the 5th edition of the Africa Fashion Up show, the first major Parisian event dedicated to contemporary African fashion, under the high patronage of President Emmanuel Macron.

This commitment is part of our pro bono support for the non-profit organization Share Africa. For the past three years, our partner Maxime de Guillenchmidt has sat on its Board of Directors, alongside its honorary president Élisabeth Moreno and other committed directors. Together with Solange Erambert, he plays an active role in the association’s development, providing day-to-day legal assistance.

Founded by Valérie Ka, the Africa Fashion Up association works to structure and promote the African fashion industry internationally, with its partners BALENCIAGA, Galeries Lafayette, Guerlain, Orange and 35°Nord. In addition to participating in the fashion show, it supports its young talents via a training program of excellence in partnership with HEC Paris.

At the Bridge fashion show on June 26th, the six 2025 winners were unveiled:
— Hawi Sisay Midekssa (HAWII), Oshobor Peter, Samkelo Xaba (B O Y D E), Frank Aghuno (Fruché) and the founders of Eloli World.

Congratulations to these inspiring designers and thanks to the entire Africa Fashion Up team for an evening rich in talent and emotion.
