Restructuring: Juliette Bour joins Veil Jourde

Veil Jourde announces the appointment of Juliette Bour as partner. Accompanied by Julie Lavaure, associate, she will head the firm’s Restructuring department.

Juliette Bour has extensive experience in preventive and insolvency proceedings, advising on restructurings and the management of complex turnaround situations.

She assists a French and international clientele, including lenders, funds, investors, shareholders, debtors and creditors, in both amicable and judicial contexts. Drawing on a strong litigation background, she is also involved in disputes arising from insolvency proceedings and commercial law matters.

A member of the Paris Bar since 2013, Juliette Bour holds a Master in Management from EDHEC Business School and a Master II (Research) in Financial Law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

She began her career at De Pardieu Brocas Maffei (2012–2016), before practising at SCP Santoni & Associés (2017–2020) and Bersay (2021–2024). In 2024, she was appointed partner and took over the head of DWF’s Restructuring practice.

Juliette Bour is a member of the Association pour le Retournement des Entreprises (ARE), Women in Restructuring and the International Bar Association (IBA), and serves as Vice-Chair of the Creditors’ Rights Subcommittee.
