Ambition France Transports: Veil Jourde invited to the interministerial conference on the future of mobility

Our partner Maxime Seno took part in the Ambition France Transports conference on June 12, after having contributed to the submission of a “cahier d’acteur” with Livia Elshoud on the future of motorway concessions.
The morning session was devoted specifically to mobilizing private capital for infrastructure:
- Eric Lombard, Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty
- Amélie de Montchalin, Minister for Public Accounts
- Philippe Tabarot, Minister for Transport
The session, which brought together elected representatives, experts, professional federations, representatives of banks, investment funds and companies involved in transport financing, addressed the following issues:
— The return of the role of the State as facilitator and strategist
— Best practices, obstacles to private investment in French infrastructure, and new ways to support it
— The need for greater regulatory certainty to develop investment: achieving contractual stability, with solid, predictable and protective remuneration formulas
— The need for a long-term alliance between the public and private spheres, in order to successfully reindustrialize the country
— The need to consider tools that enable investment in quality infrastructure without burdening public finances.
