“Reaffirming freedom of expression in the digital space”: Maxime Seno among the experts to sign the report
Maxime Seno, partner, is one of 22 experts to sign the report entitled “Reaffirming freedom of expression in the digital space”, published by La villa numeris and submitted to the Sénat yesterday.
The report highlights the major challenge posed to democracies by the emergence of new digital tools, the decentralization of communication resources, the explosion of speech, as well as phenomenas such as disinformation, harassment, the dissemination of illegal content, the multiplication of deepfakes, amplified by Artificial intelligence.
It also looks at the balance of the current legal framework, and concludes with 13 recommendations for a responsible digital.
The report is signed by a group, which brings together a multi-disciplinary team of experts, managers and committed personalities, and is chaired by Thaima Samman and Professor Pascal Beauvais, and includes the experts mentioned below
