Veil Jourde, advisor to Covivio in its acquisition of full ownership of the CB21 tower at La Défense

Veil Jourde is advising Covivio on the purchase of a 25% minority stake in CB21, the emblematic tower of Paris-La Défense, acquired in 2007 and spanning 68,000 m2 and 41 floors.
Strategically located at the foot of the Esplanade de la Défense station, and benefiting from exceptional visibility, CB21 offers its residents a range of high-end services in spaces designed by Saguez & Partners: service lobby, lounge, business center, restaurant and fitness areas, as well as two landscaped gardens of over 1,500 m2.
Winner of 1st place in the CUBE 2022 competition, in recognition of the significant reduction in its energy consumption and carbon footprint, the tower boasts numerous environmental performance certifications, including Active Score Gold, HQE Exploitation – Exceptional level for Sustainable Management and Excellent level for Sustainable Building, and WiredScore.
The reconstitution of full ownership of this emblematic asset is in line with Covivio’s real estate and asset management strategy, and comes against a backdrop of revitalization and rental rebound in the Paris-La Défense sector: in 2024, demand rose by +60%, confirming its status as a benchmark business district.
Covivio is advised in this transaction by Veil Jourde, with Emmanuel Rosenfeld and François de Navailles, partners.
