Veil Jourde, advisor to Crédit Agricole and Bpifrance in a strategic alliance to create VINIFY, the national leader in mobile wine bottling.
Veil Jourde is advising Crédit Agricole, via IDIA Capital Investissement, SOLIFARO and Grand Sud Ouest Capital, and Bpifrance, in a strategic alliance with entrepreneurs Grégoire Desmettre and Julien De Swaan, via their holding company GJ Vinify, to create VINIFY, a leading player in mobile wine bottling and related services for the French wine industry.
This operation enabled the acquisition of three family-owned, multi-regional companies (South-West, Mediterranean, Rhône), with complementary expertise (bottling, wine processing, dry matter supply, storage), leaders and recognized in their respective markets: VITIVIN, Thierry Bergeon Embouteillage and Béarnais Embouteillage.
As a result, the VINIFY group bottles nearly 60 million bottles a year on behalf of several thousand clients, including domaines, châteaux, Grands Crus classés, private merchants and cooperative wineries. The group intends to capitalize on the commercial and industrial synergies between the acquired companies, to offer its customers a comprehensive range of on-property bottling and related services.
In this transaction, Crédit Agricole Group and Bpifrance are advised by Veil Jourde, with Laurent Jobert, partner, and Enzo Niccolini, associate, on contractual and corporate aspects.
