Veil Jourde, advisor to VoltR on its fundraising from Bpifrance and Decathlon Pulse

Veil Jourde advises VoltR, the French pioneer in lithium battery remanufacturing, on a €22 million financing, including a €16 million fundraising from the SPI 2 Fund, managed by Bpifrance as part of France 2030, and Decathlon PULSE. The fundraising is complemented by grants obtained through the Première Usine programme.

This investment will enable VoltR to accelerate the industrial deployment of its remanufacturing model, in particular by supporting the scale-up of its production capacity in France. This change of scale will allow the Angers-based startup to handle growing volumes of batteries reaching the end of their first life and to extend its expertise to new products and markets.

Founded in 2022, VoltR aims to industrialise and structure a European circular economy sector for lithium batteries in order to minimise their environmental impact.

VoltR was advised on this transaction by Veil Jourde, with Géraud Saint Guilhem (Partner), Albane Regina and Romy Kaadi on corporate matters, and Maxime Seno (Partner) on regulatory matters.
