Eugénie Amri specializes in handling corporate difficulties, restructuring operations and distressed M&A.
As such, she intervenes in the context of amicable procedures (ad hoc mandate, conciliation, amicable liquidation), in distressed M&A, in financial restructuring and in collective procedures (safeguard, judicial recovery, judicial liquidation, execution and modification of safeguard plans and recovery, prepack procedures).
She assists a clientele composed mainly of debtors, managers, shareholders, investors and creditors, in all sectors of activity.
Before joining the Veil Jourde firm in 2022 as partner in charge of the Restructuring & Distressed Companies practice, Eugénie practiced for nine years in the Paris office of the American law firm Weil Gotshal & Manges and for one year at the within the French law firm Bredin Prat.
Eugénie is president of the Training committee of the ARE. She is also co-creator and facilitator of the ARE Think Tank working group which established a White Paper dedicated to “The Psychology of Managers in Crisis Situations”.
Eugénie is also a member of the Law & Commerce association (Droit & Commerce) as well as the Women In Restructuring (WIR) association.
She presents a seminar on mergers and acquisitions and distressed M&A, for the Master 2 in Business law of the University of Paris Descartes Sorbonne Paris Cité.
