Veil Jourde “Mornings” | AGEC Law
Veil Jourde is pleased to organize, on December 12th 2024, a new edition of the “Veil Jourde Mornings” on the subject of the AGEC law.
Speakers
- Brune Poirson, Accor Group Sustainable Development Director, former Secretary of State for Ecological Transition.
- Hélène Valade, Director of Environmental Development, LVMH Group.
- Xavier Guéant, Legal, Economic and International Director, Fédération des Entreprises de Beauté (FEBEA).
Promulgated on February 10, 2020, the AGEC Law was intended to reflect an ambitious environmental policy of transition to a circular economy, aiming in particular to reduce waste production and improve its recovery, while strengthening consumer information.
After more than four years of application, we invite you to take a look back at this text, which has mobilized economic operators from the parliamentary discussions right through to the challenges of implementation.
Our speakers, who were at the heart of the design and implementation of the AGEC law, will take stock of its progress, discussing its contributions and limitations, while the adoption at the end of the year of the European regulation on packaging will set a new milestone in the effort to move towards a circular economy.
Discussions will be led by Maxime de Guillenchmidt and Matthieu Ragot, Veil Jourde partners.
