Veil Jourde, advisor to the Institut Supérieur de Préparation aux grandes écoles (ISP) in connection with its secondary LBO

Veil Jourde is advising ISP, France’s leading provider of training for legal and public-sector professions, in connection with a new stage of its development.

Through this transaction, ISP is continuing the capital and generational transition initiated in 2020, notably marking the handover between Julie Haberman, the company’s long-standing leader, and her daughter, Valentine Haberman, now Chief Executive Officer.

Founded in 1984 in Paris, ISP has established itself as a benchmark in preparing students for legal and administrative competitive examinations, providing instruction to more than 4,000 students each year throughout France for over 40 years.

Still supported by Socadif, its historic financial partner, this secondary LBO opens a new chapter for ISP. Backed by its strong fundamentals and cutting-edge digital offerings, the institute will continue to expand and strengthen its leadership position—it is already the leading French training organisation for the magistracy examination and for the national police “gardien de la paix” competitive exam.

In this transaction, ISP and its shareholders were advised by Veil Jourde, with Laurent Jobert, partner, Nassim Ahmin and Léandre Marchi-Boualam, associates, on contractual and corporate/legal matters; Benoît Gréteau, partner, and Charlotte Martinez, associate, on tax matters; as well as Hervé Pillard, partner, on financing matters.
