De Guillenchmidt & Associés (DGA) joins Veil Jourde, leading French firm

Veil Jourde is continuing to expand and has joined De Guillenchmidt & Associés (DGA), a French firm comprising two partners, Maxime de Guillenchmidt and Matthieu Ragot, one senior counsel, Gilles de Boisséson, and four lawyers, Victor Lehmann, Guillaume Haudry, Solange Erambert and Audrey Roustit.

These arrivals bring the total number of lawyers at the firm to almost 70, including 23 partners. Veil Jourde has strengthened its skills in several key areas, including commercial litigation and corporate criminal law with Maxime de Guillenchmidt, and public economic and regulatory law with Matthieu Ragot.

“The integration of this dynamic and experienced team is a key step in our growth strategy. The synergies with our existing teams will enhance our expertise and strengthen our service offering”

Georges Jourde, founding partner, and Eric Deubel, partner and member of the Management Committee.

With a strong team of 7 partners in business litigation, Veil Jourde is consolidating its position as leader in this field.

In addition, Maxime Seno’s activities in public and regulatory law will be extended to include advice and litigation for international organisations, an area in which Matthieu Ragot has been active for several years. The complementary skills of these teams will enable Veil Jourde to continue to support economic players in all aspects of regulatory litigation – from the challenge of a standard to its control by the authorities, via disputes between competitors.

“Joining a leading firm like Veil Jourde and participating in its continued growth is a great challenge for our team. The wide range of expertise offered by the firm meets a real need for our clients. The firm’s solidity and the partnership values that we have found there provide the perfect framework for continuing our development”.
