Intellectual property, medias & new technologies

An effective, long-term intellectual property policy is essential to secure the acquisition and exploitation of intellectual property rights (copyright, neighboring (or related) rights, trademarks, databases, etc.), which constitute a crucial intangible asset for any company.

The protection of intangible rights also extends to corporate branding and our clients’ personality rights, against all infringements of communications and media law (press infringements, e-reputation, personal data, etc.).

In each of these areas, our approach is to comprehend our clients’ activities and specific needs, so as to protect their interests and provide them with appropriate support.

We give priority to pragmatic analyses leading to concrete recommendations, while integrating as best as possible the search for amicable solutions in the event of disputes.

Our team advises and litigates on behalf of major French and international groups in the luxury, media and communications, retail and digital sectors. We also offer our expertise to organizations, trade associations and rights holders of well-known works.

Our in-depth knowledge of the regulations and key players in the French cultural ecosystem enables us to provide top-notch support for any innovative project wishing to enter this arena.

In order to offer a comprehensive service to our clients, we work closely with our other departments, particularly Business Litigation and M&A – Private Equity. For patents, we work closely with external patent attorneys.
