Former partner of the Gide Loyrette Nouel firm, he founded the Veil Jourde firm in 1990.

He intervenes both in mergers & acquisitions and in civil, commercial, criminal or regulatory litigation.
The Legal 500 guide highlights in 2017, “Jean Veil is considered a “leading individual” both in litigation and in criminal business law.”

Chambers & Partners mentions in the Global guide “Sources state that Jean Veil is “excellent on business and criminal law.” And ranks it first in Business Criminal Law.
