Veil Jourde, advisor to La Financière Saint-Germain in the sale of Haviland to Bernardaud

Veil Jourde advises Financière Saint-Germain on the sale of Haviland, the historic Limoges porcelain manufacturer, to Bernardaud.
Founded in 1842 and 1863 respectively, both companies are emblematic of Limoges’ porcelain heritage and boast a level of craftsmanship synonymous with “French luxury” in the field of tableware.
This merger, in which Bernardaud takes over 100% of Haviland’s shares, will enable the two brands to combine their skills in design, production and manufacturing, while respecting their respective identities.
Haviland, with its top-of-the-range industrial facilities, will continue to produce its collections in its Limoges workshops, while benefiting from Bernardaud’s resources and expertise, with the aim of expanding its collections and highlighting its archives and heritage.
La Financière Saint-Germain was advised in this transaction by Veil Jourde, with Jean Veil and Gabriel d’Amécourt, partners, on the legal aspects.
