Veil Jourde advisor to Crédit Agricole on its investment in the capital of Miraval Provence

Veil Jourde is advising Crédit Agricole, which, through its entities IDIA Capital Investissement and SOFIPACA, is taking a minority stake in Miraval Provence alongside Famille Perrin and Château Miraval.

Located in the heart of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, Miraval Provence markets internationally renowned wines under two complementary brands: Miraval Côtes de Provence, an iconic reference in Provence rosé positioned in the premium segment, and Studio by Miraval, positioned as more accessible, whose identity is linked to Château Miraval’s recording studio.

Historically jointly owned by Famille Perrin and Château Miraval, the company has a commercial presence in more than 100 countries, through a global distribution network that draws on both Famille Perrin’s historic channels and a strategic partnership with Campari Group.

Carried out through a reserved capital increase, this transaction will support Miraval Provence in a new phase of development by rolling out several strategic initiatives, aimed at accelerating its commercial growth and boosting brand awareness, as well as launching innovative products and recruiting new talent.

On this transaction, Crédit Agricole was advised by the law firm Veil Jourde, with Laurent Jobert, partner, Mathilde Grenier and Juliette Duffau, associates, on corporate and contractual aspects; Benoît Gréteau, partner, and Charlotte Martinez, associate, on tax aspects; and Fanny Attal, counsel, on intellectual property aspects.
