Veil Jourde, advisor to Orange Business in connection with its exclusive negotiations with a view to the acquisition of its Ocean business by Shiftmove
Veil Jourde advises Orange Business, a subsidiary of the Orange Group, on the signing of an exclusivity agreement for the acquisition of its Ocean business by Shiftmove.
Ocean is the Fleet Management business of Orange Business. With 20 years of expertise, Océan offers fleet management solutions to several thousand companies and local authorities, covering a fleet of nearly 170,000 vehicles and trucks across France.
The acquisition by Shiftmove, a German-Swiss software platform specialized in fleet management, would provide Océan with a dedicated environment conducive to market consolidation, accelerating its growth and moving towards its goal of becoming a key player in the sector.
The proposed transaction is in line with Orange Business’ strategy of refocusing its business portfolio and concentrating investment on its key strategic priorities, and is expected to be finalized by the end of 2025.
